A hybrid system collects energy from solar pv panels and directs that energy to one or more inverters which then convert that energy to usable power for general household or commercial consumption. A hybrid system also has a battery backup for when there is no, or insufficient power from the solar panels. In addition to the battery backup the Hybrid system is also connected to the utility grid, should your battery backup run flat.
